Overview
Apex Software has been providing real estate appraisers with IT solutions since the mid-1980's.
By the early 1990's, the Apex Sketch Library was considered the industry standard by all reasonable accounts.
This was due in part to Apex's commitment to establish a standard communication protocol which allowed data to
be shared with other appraisal software programs. Apex has partnered with some of the world's largest companies
to build integrated solutions for real estate.
Challenge
While Apex's software was leading the industry, the company found it difficult and inefficient
to also research and develop hardware. With products that had application on the desktop but also in handheld
portable environments, Apex needed a partner that could manage the hardware provisioning and service.
Solution
Advantec proposed a feature-rich program that enhanced Apex's overall product offering while
concurrently improving Apex's profitability. Key aspects of the program include:
